About Slots Rules

Irrespective of various types of slots, all the slots machines are similar when it comes to working and rules. The main aim of any slot game is to line up different symbols in different combination on the slot playline.

There are two categories in which online slots fall

Progressive machines and straight slots. The only dissimilarity between these is that straight slots will payout preset winning, while the earning on progressive online slots increase with the ever-growing jackpot. Players have the opportunity of betting in different size wagers as they desire.

Selecting wager amounts for straight slots is done by simply clicking on the ‘+’ or ‘-’ symbols on the wager box on the playing screen. The number of paylines to bet is can be selected either by clicking on "Bet Max" button (i.e. play all paylines at once) or by clicking the "Bet One" tab.  Whenever this tab is clicked, a payline will be checked or highlighted. After finalizing all betting amounts and paylines, the player will click on the "Spin" button.

Now, all the reels will start spinning, which will then be followed by a display of results and winnings. After the results of this single payline are shown, the player then has an option to put a 'Hold' on any of the symbols. All blank payline spaces of the reel put on ‘hold’ will assume this symbol. The Spin button will then again be clicked, and all reels not put on hold will begin spinning for the chosen paylines.

The number and frequency of symbols, as well as the different symbol combinations will eventually influence the odds of winning. Generally, the reels are indirectly proportion to the symbols that compose each reel. Another tip to keep in mind about straight slot machines is that most of them will have a bonus multiplier, which will reward a bonus on winning combinations - but this happens only if all the paylines are bet on a single spin.
